File formats

We accept the following file formats (in order of preference): .AI, .EPS, .PSD, .PDF, JPEG, TIFF, GIF, and Word. For more information regarding these formats please see below.

For Best Results

Create your art as vector art in Adobe Illustrator and save as an Adobe Illustrator (.AI) file of version 12 (CS2) or less. Please be sure to convert all text to outlines/curves. CorelDraw or Freehand may be used but we will need an Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) format file from those programs. If none of the previous are available, Portable Document Format (PDF) is also acceptable but you must embed the fonts in the document.

Hand-drawn Artwork/Photos

We accept Adobe Photoshop files (.PSD) version 7 or less, TIFF, BMP, or Encapsulated PostScript (EPS). The file including the images in it, must be at least 300 DPI.

Approving Your Artwork

We will e-mail you an artwork proof for approval before printing your order. When you receive this e-mail, please respond promptly, denoting any changes or if it is ready to print. We will NOT proceed with your order until we get YOUR approval.

Multiple Files

If you are sending multiple files, use either ZIP or Stuffit™ format to combine them into one archive. You should also use compression software if you are sending a large (over 1 megabyte) file.

Starting From Scratch

If you are not a graphic artist, do not have the tools to do camera ready art, or do not have a graphic artist that you work with, we can do it for you. The first hour of artwork is free and then $50.00 per hour thereafter (billed in 15 minute increments) with your printing order.

Embroidery Designs

For embroidery we prefer vector art (.AI and .EPS). Traditional embroidery designs are approx. 3.5” wide. All text in a design must be at least 0.25” tall, or it will not sew out.
